Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (RBHC) seeks a Director of Information Systems & Technology to lead enterprise clinical and business applications. You will drive adoption across levels and align IT with clinical and operational goals at RBHC in New Jersey.

The role oversees security, budgets and strategic technology direction, with responsibilities spanning system life-cycle, governance, and risk management within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; graduate degree preferred in a health-related or related field.
• Minimum ten years IT and healthcare experience with at least five years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle, quality assurance and project management.

Responsibilities

• Directs design, development, testing, implementation and lifecycle of applications.
• Ensures security and confidentiality of organization, patient, financial and research data.
• Oversees capital plan, budgets and keeps senior administration informed.
• Develops tech standards, governance, procedures and end-user training.
• Leads cross-functional teams and strategic IT initiatives.
• Develops detailed plans for installation, testing, change management and compliance.
