Job summary

Mercy is seeking a leader for the Charge Master Clinical Specialists to oversee charge master functions ensuring proper reimbursement and compliance across Mercy communities.

The role requires strong knowledge of CDM, FI requirements, andEpic certification within one year of hire; a focus on accuracy and collaboration with multiple Mercy entities to optimize payor mix and coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or comparable work experience in HIM, Finance, Nursing or related field.
• Five years of health care experience.
• Epic Certification required within one year of hire.
• CDM knowledge and payor mix awareness for Mercy entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Charge Master Clinical Specialists and oversee charge master functions.
• Ensure appropriate reimbursement and compliance with government billing regulations across Mercy communities.
• Travel as needed; collaborate across Mercy entities and service lines.
