Job summary

UNC Health Care in Morrisville, NC seeks a results-driven HCS Director Nursing Operations to oversee centralized nursing operations across the health system. You will partner with the VP of Nursing Operations to drive strategic initiatives, provide leadership, and ensure high-quality patient care and efficient staffing.

Responsibilities include managing staffing, virtual monitoring, predictive analytics, capacity management, KPI tracking, and collaboration with hospital leaders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Seven years of progressive inpatient hospital nursing leadership experience.
• Experience leading centralized nursing operations and working with system-level leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee central staffing operations and contingent workforce initiatives to ensure adequate staffing and quality care.
• Lead the centralized nursing operations, serving as liaison between hospital leaders and centralized teams.
• Drive change initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to improve performance.
• Develop staffing models and KPI metrics to optimize labor utilization and financial performance.
