Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Sr Director, Central Fill & Mail Order to build and lead the central-fill and mail-order pharmacy capability within Specialty Pharmacy Services. You will own the end-to-end operating model from design through ongoing operations and scale the footprint from ~60 to ~175 locations.

This role requires PharmD or equivalent, 10+ years in pharmacy operations, and deep 340B expertise. Location is Grapevine, TX with a compensation range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree with active pharmacist licensure; ability to obtain additional licensure as required.
• 10+ years of progressive pharmacy operations experience with leadership responsibility in large-scale or multi-site operations.
• Proven experience building, launching, or scaling central-fill and/or mail-order operations.
• Experience in national retail, specialty, mail-order, e-commerce, health-system, or similarly complex pharmacy operations.
• Strong 340B specialty pharmacy operations experience and understanding of program compliance and economics.
• Deep end-to-end pharmacy expertise across process, systems, automation, fulfillment, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience operating across multiple states and navigating Board of Pharmacy licensure requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to build new capabilities, lead growth, and translate strategy into operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, design, build, launch, and scale of the central-fill and mail-order pharmacy capability.
• Design the end-to-end operating model, including dispensing and fulfillment workflows, staffing, inventory, shipping, quality controls, patient service, and performance management.
• Build a scalable operation capable of supporting growth in pharmacy locations, prescription volume, customers, and geographic reach.
• Establish operating standards, KPIs, capacity models, and continuous improvement processes to drive quality, efficiency, and service.
• Provide senior pharmacy operations leadership supporting growth from approximately 60 to 175 locations.
• Develop standardized, repeatable pharmacy processes that enable growth while maintaining quality, compliance, and patient service.
• Identify operational risks, capacity constraints, and process gaps and develop scalable solutions to address them.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Quality, and pharmacy leadership on multi-state regulatory requirements, licensing, audits, and operational controls.
