YWCA Northeast Kansas is seeking a Public Education Manager who will lead community education and awareness programs on domestic and dating violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. The role develops trainings, manages partnerships, and trains staff as requested.
Reporting to the CSE Program Director and potential for supervisory responsibilities after probation, this role supports coordination across program areas and participates in on-call rotations and after-hours responses.

Reporting Relationship: CSE Program Director
Reporting to the Center for Safety and Empowerment (CSE) Program Director, the Public Education Manager leads the organization’s community education and awareness programming about domestic and dating violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. This position develops and delivers trainings and public awareness efforts, manages community partnerships, and facilitates staff training as requested.
As a member of the CSE Supervisor Team, this position contributes to program leadership, participates in the CSE Supervisor’s On-Call rotation, and supports coordination of services across program areas. Following successful completion of the probationary period, this role may assume supervisory responsibilities for assigned staff, interns, or volunteers, as determined by program needs.
At a minimum, the Public Education Manager must have a degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be substituted for formal education requirements, depending on the nature and scope of the experience. In addition, the Public Education Manager shall have:
