Job summary

Lamar University invites applications for the Director of the Center for Academic Success, a leadership role within Enrollment Management. The position manages CAS programming, budgets, staff, and partnerships, driving student success initiatives across campus.

The Director leads retention-focused efforts, evaluates outcomes with data, and reports on impact to university leadership. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• At least five (5) years in academic support, instructional support, or student services.
• Experience supervising staff and managing programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all CAS programming, activities, and initiatives
• Oversee hiring, training, and supervision of CAS staff
• Foster engagement with students to promote CAS participation
• Coordinate advertising, marketing, and promotions for CAS offerings
• Assess program effectiveness through data and reporting
• Develop policies and procedures for CAS programs and activities
• Provide staff development on learning support trends
