Job summary

Agree Realty Corporation in Royal Oak, MI seeks a Director of Capital Projects to own portfolio-wide capital expenditure execution, lead planning, forecasting, vendor procurement, and RFP administration, and mentor Capital Projects Coordinators. You will partner with Property Management, Asset Management, Finance, Legal and Construction to deliver scalable capital programs across the portfolio.

In this role, you will drive lifecycle strategies for major systems, manage budgets and schedules,

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years in commercial property management or capital projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Strategic thinker who can manage multiple priorities.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and deadline-focused.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio-wide capital expenditure execution and accountability.
• Develop and maintain annual capital project plans and pipelines.
• Lead identification, scope, budgeting, procurement, execution, and closeout.
• Create and administer RFPs for capital projects.
• Monitor progress, budgets, timelines, and risks throughout projects.
• Ensure standardized processes, documentation, and naming conventions.
• Coordinate stakeholder communications and vendor relationships.
• Drive continuous process improvement across capital workflows.
• Directly mentor and manage Capital Projects Coordinators.
