Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) seeks a Coordinator, Health Promotions Initiatives to develop and promote prevention and wellness programs for students. The role designs curricula and uses data to evaluate and improve outcomes, addressing emerging health needs and advising on program quality and strategy.

The position involves coordinating events, managing curricula, and collaborating with campus departments to advance Prevention & Wellness goals and ensure evidence-informed practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or closely related field.
• Proven experience with student mental health, student development, health promotion, or related field.
• Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Mansioni

• Plans, develops, implements, and presents prevention and outreach health education programming for healthy lifestyles.
• Applies health education expertise to design, implement, and evaluate programs and curricula grounded in evidence-based practice.
• Develops and presents formal training programs for Peer Educators and Prevention & Wellness staff.
• Oversees events and curriculum to ensure learning outcomes are met for all students.
• Collaborates across campus to promote cross-campus initiatives and advance student health and wellness goals.
