Job summary

Mount Mary University seeks a strategic, compassionate leader to serve as Director of Relationship Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Services. This role leads the OVW-funded initiative to reduce DVSAS on campus through trauma-informed prevention and collaboration across departments.

You will build partnerships with diverse service providers, oversee program reporting, and develop a campus-wide prevention curriculum to reach all students, promoting equity and healing-centered practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, education, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive practices.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, first-generation, and commuter students.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and build collaborative teams.
  • Familiarity with Title IX, Clery Act, and federal violence prevention guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive campus-wide strategies to build institutional capacity for preventing and responding to DVSAS.
  • Chair and coordinate the Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT), ensuring diverse representation from students, staff, faculty, and community partners.
  • Cultivate partnerships with culturally specific service providers to ensure accessible and inclusive services for all students, especially those from underserved populations.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, integrating public safety, residential life, counseling services, and campus ministry into prevention and response efforts.
  • Manage all aspects of the OVW Campus Grant project including reporting, budget alignment, training compliance, and documentation.
  • Serve as liaison with OVW program staff and technical assistance providers.
  • Ensure implementation aligns with federal guidelines, MMU & SSND mission, and grant deliverables.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a trauma-informed, culturally relevant prevention curriculum designed to reach 100% of MMU students through required programming, workshops, and classroom integration.
  • Design and facilitate professional development and training opportunities for students, staff, faculty, and campus leadership on topics such as healthy relationships, boundaries, trauma response, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and bystander intervention.
  • Coordinate confidential, student-centered services including warm referrals, advocacy, and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Lead efforts to remove barriers to reporting and service access through culturally responsive and identity-affirming outreach.
  • Assist in policy updates and campus-wide initiatives that promote equity, accountability, and healing-centered practices.
  • Track program outcomes, gather qualitative and quantitative data, and use findings to continuously improve services and engagement.
  • Contribute to long-term sustainability planning through institutional buy-in, resource development, and systemic integration.
