Job summary

Mount Mary University seeks a strategic, compassionate leader to serve as the Director of Relationship Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Services. This role oversees the OVW-funded Soaring Above: Blue Angels' Strategies to Reduce DVSAS on Campus initiative, implementing a trauma-informed, prevention-based, and collaborative approach to shift campus culture.

The Director will lead capacity building, collaboration across departments, and compliance with federal guidelines while driving

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices.
  • Experience with diverse student populations including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, first-generation.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills with ability to build teams.
  • Familiarity with Title IX, Clery Act, and federal violence prevention guidelines preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of campus-wide strategies to prevent and respond to DVSAS.
  • Chair the Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) with diverse representation.
  • Build partnerships with culturally specific service providers for inclusive services.
  • Ensure OVW grant project compliance: reporting, budgeting, training, documentation.
  • Design and deliver trauma-informed prevention curriculum reaching all MMU students.
  • Coordinate confidential, student-centered services and advocacy.
