Job summary

Legora is seeking a Director of Business Operations in New York to build the operating model, own planning cadence, and drive company-wide alignment as we scale to 1,600+ people across locations.

You will lead the Business Operations team, partner with the CEO office and IT, and push data-driven decision making with a focus on MBR/QBR cadence and metric trees. This is a build-and-run leadership role in a fast-growing enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years combining analytical rigor with hands-on operating work, including leading people.
• Experience running company-wide planning (OKRs, metric trees, cadence) at 1000+ employees.
• Strong analytics fluency and data-driven MBR/QBR cadence with dashboards.
• Executive presence and ability to influence in rooms with founders and VPs.
• Builder's bias: creates structure and avoids simply inheriting it.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model end to end and ensure alignment across teams.
• Design and run the planning cadence, metric tree, and company-wide rhythm.
• Translate metric-tree analysis into business cases for bets and investments.
• Define and uphold the decision-rights framework across the org.
• Partner with internal communications across 20+ locations.
• Own the business systems backbone and governance (Notion, Slack, knowledge mgmt).
• Build and lead the Business Operations team and scale the function.
