We are seeking a DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, ADVISOR GROWTH to join our team. This role can be based in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid.

THE OPPORTUNITY


Advisor Growth involves initiatives to deepen client relationships and facilitate growth. Current programs leverage relationships with third-party consultants, subject matter experts, and enterprise companies.


THE ROLE


We seek a proactive, detail-oriented Director, Business Development to lead our business development efforts. Key responsibilities include supporting go-to-market strategies, driving partnerships, maintaining pitch materials, preparing client pitches, conducting market and competitive research, overseeing contract processes, facilitating client onboarding, managing deal flow, and reporting on KPIs.


EXPERTISE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Business Development



  • Sign Partners: Identify, engage, and close B2B2C partnerships.

  • Maintain Pitch Library: Keep pitch materials current and accessible.

  • Prepare Pitches: Customize pitches for targeted companies.

  • Support Research: Conduct market and competitive research.

  • Contract Execution: Support drafting, negotiations, and reviews.

  • Client Onboarding: Ensure smooth transition for new clients.


Deal Flow Management & Reporting



  • Manage Deal Flow: Track activities using CRM systems.

  • Status Monitoring: Identify bottlenecks and delays.

  • Reporting: Generate activity and KPI reports.

  • Insights: Offer market and deal insights to management.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Team Collaboration: Share insights and strategies.

  • Intermediary Role: Act as liaison between clients/partners and internal teams.

Sales & Relationship Management: Proven success in sales and relationship roles, with a strategic approach.

FURTHER QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • 5-7 years in business development, sales, or marketing.
  • 10-15 years of total experience, with 3-5 years in management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments or startups is a plus.
