Job Summary:
The role will be part of a new team within Crown Bioscience, focused exclusively on Top 25 Global Pharma. The individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of tailored sales strategies in these key accounts to leverage Crown Bioscience's business opportunities in the area of translational science, specifically Oncology.
This position is fully remote on the West Coast and ideally be based in Southern CA area.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement strategic sales plans (short term and long term) to achieve corporate goals in the assigned market;
•Identify and analyze business opportunity, and formulate plans to capture the opportunity and deal with problems;
•Contact prospective customer/partner companies to further explore business opportunities and manage negotiations;
•Develop and maintain key business relationships across a broad sphere of influence, both internally and externally;
•Logistics management in daily order.
•Flexibility spending up to 40% travel when needed
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology or related life science field.
•Drug discovery experience selling to Top 25 Global Pharma – at least 8 years of experience
•Relevant business development experience (pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO) is required and proven track record of achieving sales targets
•Masterful selling skills and strategic mindset, that result in strong and trusting customer relationships
Preferred Requirements:
•Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) preferred; equivalent experience in sales will also be considered
•Have strong background in oncology and in vivo pharmacology preferred with at least 8 years in a business development or sales role.
•Have a proven track record of selling to Global Top25 Pharma and ability to win complex deals and manage negotiations at all levels, achieving long term value is highly desired
The base salary range of the position is $130,000 to $155,000 and is based off experience.
