Vista Equity Partners is seeking a Director to lead the Foundation Fund’s Business Development team. The fund manages $10 billion in assets and focuses on investing in growing enterprise software companies with revenues between $30 million and $100 million+. This role is crucial for the fund’s sourcing strategy, working closely with the investment team and senior leadership.
The successful candidate will oversee the pipeline and reporting, developing a systematic, data-driven approach to increase pipeline volume, engagement, and vetting efficiency. The BD Director must be adept at building operational infrastructure, nurturing relationships with software executives and intermediaries, and supporting a targeted, strategic sourcing model.
This full-time position is based in Austin, New York, Chicago, or remote, with an immediate start, reporting to a Managing Director within Foundation Fund.
The annual base pay range is estimated between $275,000 and $350,000, with additional bonuses and benefits.
