California State University, Long Beach is seeking a Director of URD Budget and Fiscal Operations to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the URD division and Long Beach State Foundation.

The role partners with senior leadership, HR, and procurement to drive resource allocation, salary planning, and process improvements while ensuring compliance and internal controls across the campus enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, public administration, or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in budget administration, financial management, fiscal operations, or a related area.
• Experience supervising staff or providing management oversight is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division-wide fiscal operations including budgeting, reporting, compliance, internal controls, and financial performance.
• Direct planning, development, and monitoring of URD and Long Beach State Foundation budgets.
• Partner with Division HR Services on salary forecasting and staffing budget development.
• Oversee administrative operations including hoteling, space coordination, and student assistant coverage.
