The Role

The Director of Brand Marketing develops and executes integrated, consumer-centric marketing strategies. Leading a cross-functional team across Integrated Marketing, PR, Partnerships, and Outreach within the region, this role ensures all activities align with a DTC-first approach to inspire new consumers, expand into new categories, and drive growth. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this leader collaborates with creative, retail, eCommerce, wholesale, sports marketing, and media teams to craft a cohesive brand and product story, fostering a high-performing team that elevates the HOKA brand through strategic, innovative marketing initiatives.

Your Impact

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of compelling, insight-driven brand campaigns.
  • Managing cross-functional go-to-market plans for impactful consumer touchpoints.
  • Ensuring timely, on-brand, measurable campaign execution.
  • Overseeing the North American seasonal marketing calendar and aligning messaging with global strategies.
  • Collaborating with global marketing to maintain brand consistency while tailoring initiatives locally.
  • Driving creative excellence and innovation in partnership with creative teams.
  • Partnering across departments to deliver a unified brand narrative and manage budgets effectively.
  • Monitoring KPIs, optimizing strategies based on performance data, and staying ahead of market trends.
Who You Are
  • Strategic thinker with leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional collaborations.
  • Excellent communicator capable of engaging senior leadership and external partners.
  • Strong budget management skills and ability to make autonomous decisions.
  • Proven success in executing large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and brand positioning.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience, preferably in footwear or apparel industries.
  • Leadership in consumer, digital, social, and event marketing.
  • Track record of delivering innovative campaigns and building high-performing teams.
