Remote – US (approved states include Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington)

The Role

The Director of Brand Marketing is responsible for developing and executing integrated, consumer-centric marketing plans, leading a cross-functional team across Integrated Marketing, PR, Partnerships, and Outreach within the region. This role ensures all channel activities align with a DTC-first approach, driving strategic execution that inspires new consumers, expands into new categories, and fuels business growth. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this leader will shape and elevate brand direction across all marketplace content, collaborating closely with creative, retail, eCommerce, wholesale, sports marketing, and media teams to deliver a 360-degree, integrated brand and product storytelling approach. The role requires a deep understanding of performance, culture, and commerce, fostering a high-performing team and strategic marketing initiatives that elevate the HOKA brand.

Your Impact

The primary functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Integrated Marketing & Campaign Execution
  • Lead the team in developing compelling brand campaigns that connect with consumers.
  • Oversee cross-functional go-to-market planning, ensuring alignment and impact.
  • Drive executional excellence, ensuring campaigns are timely, on brand, and measurable.
  • Manage the North American seasonal marketing calendar, maintaining a cohesive brand story across channels.
  • Collaborate with the Global Brand team for message consistency and regional tailoring.
  • Provide strategic feedback to Global Marketing and lead seasonal marketing plans with measurement and reporting.
  • Creative Excellence
  • Partner with Creative to push innovation and reflect the brand’s identity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with Product, Retail, eCommerce, Media, PR, and Operations to unify brand messaging.
  • Manage budgets aligned with sales and marketing priorities.
  • Performance & Optimization
  • Define KPIs, assess effectiveness, and optimize strategies based on insights.
  • Stay ahead of trends and cultural shifts to position HOKA as a leader.

Salary range: $190,000 - $200,000, depending on location and experience.
