Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Security Engineering for Blockchain and Digital Solutions to lead a team of security engineers. You will guide security-by-design practices and drive the security roadmap for Crypto Products and Digital Solutions, partnering with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure security, compliance, and customer trust.

You will influence architecture, lead comprehensive security reviews, and shape future security capabilities across large-scale crypto

Qualifications

• Experience leading information security engineering teams.
• Strong negotiation with stakeholders balancing risk and opportunity.
• Excellent cross‑organisational communication.
• Broad security engineering experience across tech and risk.
• Advanced cryptography knowledge applied to blockchain.
• Understanding of blockchain security principles.
• Knowledge of web security and online transactions.
• Ability to guide cryptography, network design, app security, data protection, IAM.
