Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director, New Product Development – Digital Assets & Stablecoin Payments to lead crypto product strategy and roadmap. You’ll shape visions for digital assets and stablecoin use cases, collaborating with product, engineering and security teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

You will translate emerging blockchain concepts into market-ready offerings, drive POC tests and business cases, and mentor junior teammates in a fast-evolving ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Experience leading crypto or blockchain product development in regulated financial services.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to build business cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development for digital assets / cryptocurrency and stablecoin capabilities across Mastercard’s network.
• Define and own product vision, concepts and roadmap for crypto use cases.
• Partner with product, engineering, architecture, and security teams to design scalable blockchain‑based solutions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and Mastercard rules frameworks.
• Translate blockchain concepts into executable delivery plans.
• Engage with external partners to co‑develop and integrate crypto/stablecoin solutions.
• Drive proofs‑of‑concept and market tests; build business cases and metrics.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
