Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Director Engineering Technical Expert – Sterile Fill to provide enterprise-level technical leadership for biologics sterile fill engineering across strategic investments. You will shape and govern engineering strategies, ensure Annex 1 compliance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex capital programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a relevant technical discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for sterile filling of biologics and parenteral products; ensure Annex 1 compliance and contamination control strategy.
• Lead engineering input to contamination control strategy development and aseptic processing design.
• Coordinate input from project teams, site SMEs, external partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive governance and escalation for technical decisions impacting safety, quality, cost or schedule.
• Support front-end engineering, facility concept development and investment option evaluation.
• Promote engineering standards and knowledge sharing across regions, sites and programs.
