Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations at Devens, MA to direct Upstream/Downstream activities and drive cGMP-compliant production for biologics. Qualifications

• Knowledge of SOPs, cGMPs and regulatory environment.
• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing with experience in technology transfer, process development and manufacturing support.
• Experience managing large teams (>30 people) and leading cross-functional groups.
• Proven leadership to make difficult decisions in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated change management and continuous improvement (OPEX) experience.
• Budget awareness and cost-reduction acumen.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities in Upstream or Downstream Operations.
• Allocates resources to deliver production targets and manage turnover/training.
• Owns detailed scheduling of manufacturing operations aligned with supply chain and new product introduction.
• Drives safety leadership and ensures CAPAs are closed promptly.
• Maintains cGMP compliance and audit readiness; collaborates with QA/QC, MS&T, Digital Plant and other functions.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver drug substance.
