Akamai is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the global billing and commercial platform strategy. You will converge legacy enterprise billing with cloud-based systems to enable product-led growth across Akamai's Compute, Delivery, and Security portfolios.

In this role you will drive the vision, architecture, and roadmap, partnering with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver frictionless billing experiences, real-time cost visibility, and flexible pricing constructs.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product management, billing, fintech, or cloud revenue operations.
• Proven experience architecting complex billing system integrations, merging legacy platforms with modern cloud systems.
• Expertise in usage-based monetization, pricing enablement, metering, rating, and enterprise contract constructs.
• Track record of driving organizational change and guiding agile delivery teams.
• Deep knowledge of financial compliance standards, including SOX controls.

Aufgaben

• Drive the overarching product vision and multi-year roadmap for billing and commercial platform across Compute, Delivery, and Security.
• Architect the convergence of legacy enterprise billing with cloud compute billing systems to reduce customer friction.
• Enable product-led growth through real-time cost visibility and self-service options.
• Build enterprise commerce capabilities for negotiated pricing, discounts, credits, and consolidated billing.
• Partner with engineering to adopt modern agile frameworks and maintain SOX compliance.
• Establish reusable commercial capabilities for rating, metering, entitlements, and invoicing to accelerate product launches and M&A integrations.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with Product, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Legal to turn billing into a growth enabler.
