Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics to lead a two-person team and serve as the analytics partner across Life Insurance. You will transform how data is accessed and used, turning insights into decisions that drive profitable growth.

You will own field-facing and operational reports, build models, and influence analytics strategy, overseeing data products and initiatives from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise dashboards in Power BI for business and front-line audiences.
• Apply statistical and predictive modeling techniques to influence decisions.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and cloud-based data platforms across sources.
• Translate ambiguous questions into analytics requirements and roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives with IT, data science, product and vendors.
• Establish data quality, governance, and reporting standards across systems.
• Communicate insights clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve a portfolio of field-facing and operational dashboards.
• Develop advanced analytics solutions from models to Power BI dashboards.
• Partner with leaders to define analytics requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Lead data initiatives from concept through implementation with teams.
• Coach and develop two analysts, fostering high-performance culture.
• Drive enterprise analytics strategy aligned with business priorities.
