Job summary

Ford Energy seeks a Director of Project Delivery to build, scale, and lead the post-contract execution and delivery function within the Sales Organization. You will design processes, governance, and playbooks to transition complex energy deals from signing to commissioning.

You will lead a high-performing team of PMs across BESS and renewable projects, manage the master timeline, remove roadblocks, and act as a senior customer-facing executive during deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, a related technical field, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of program management, project delivery, or PMO experience, with a proven track record of executing large-scale utility, infrastructure, or energy projects.
• 5+ years of experience directly managing, building, and mentoring high-performing project management teams.
• Strong background in post-contract execution, EPC workflows, contract management, and utility-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Establish Execution Frameworks: Design, implement, and continuously improve standardized post-contract PMO processes, playbooks, stage-gate reviews, and delivery methodologies tailored for BESS and renewable projects.
• Build & Lead the Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of project managers and execution specialists.
• Timeline Custodianship: Maintain ultimate accountability for the master project timeline, ensuring milestones from contract close to final commissioning.
