Job summary

Samsung C&T Renewables America seeks a Director of Project Management to lead the construction portfolio for utility-scale solar and BESS projects in North America. You will build and mentor a high-performing PM team, establish standardized processes, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and with strong contractual governance.

You will negotiate EPCA agreements, manage EPC partners, coordinate with finance and utilities, and maintain executive-level alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent.
MBA or advanced technical degree is highly preferred.
Minimum 12–15 years in project management/construction leadership in utility-scale power generation.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor PMs, APMs, and construction staff.
Establish standardized PM processes, KPIs, and reporting for NA portfolio.
Allocate resources across pipeline to match timelines and needs.
Escalation point for critical risks, disputes, and schedule recovery.
Draft, structure, and negotiate LNTP agreements and EPCA frameworks.
Drive executive-level negotiations for EPC contracts and financing milestones.
Set standards for milestones, damages, and liability caps.
Collaborate with Executives, Legal, and Risk to minimize contractual risk.
Ensure interconnection, permit conditions, and CPM schedules align with contracts.
