Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks a seasoned audit leader to oversee global controls testing, assurance, and monitoring for Spark Earnings Excellence.

You will establish a risk-based audit framework, annual plan, and evidence standards while coordinating with external auditors and senior stakeholders. The role focuses on enhancing control health, remediation validation, and executive visibility through concise dashboards and trend analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years’ experience in internal/external audit, MIS, or related area OR 7 years in internal/external audit, MIS, or related area.
• Supervisory experience of at least 2 years.
• Experience leading global audit planning and execution.
• Familiarity with international standards and enterprise risk management (ERM).

Responsibilities

• Lead independent controls testing, assurance, and monitoring for Spark Earnings Excellence.
• Define assurance strategy, testing plan, evidence standards, and reporting cadence across earnings and tax controls.
• Assess control design, implementation, and operating effectiveness; classify deficiencies and remediate.
• Provide forward-looking controls insights from risk, scale, regulatory change, or system releases.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09050: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :− Stock
