Job summary

The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Director & Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Compliance to lead all aspects of litigation, enforcement of IP rights, and global compliance programs. The role reports to the CLO and sits on the Legal Leadership Team, guiding employment law strategy and cross-border risk management.

The successful candidate will shape the legal function, manage outside counsel, and develop talent within a high-profile entertainment brand with global reach.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar license in good standing (Washington state or eligible to seek admission).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of litigation, including strategy and coordination with outside counsel.
• Develop proactive strategies to mitigate risk and support compliance across global operations.
• Oversee corporate compliance programs, policies and training initiatives.
• Advise on employment law issues and workforce management.
• Provide strategic guidance on IP enforcement, anti-counterfeiting and trademark protection.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on high-profile legal, reputational and business risks.
