Job summary

Blue Castle Agency seeks a Director or Associate Director to oversee a multi-state multifamily portfolio, lead Regional Managers, and drive strategic client relationships. Travel across the Midwest and Southwest is expected, with a focus on turnaround of underperforming assets and reporting to ownership and leadership.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of multifamily property management experience with senior/director-level oversight across multiple regions.
• Direct experience with properties in receivership and/or REO status.
• Comfortable managing senior client relationships, including live calls.
• Proven ability to lead and develop Regional Managers.
• Strong financial and operational command across a large, multi-state portfolio.
• Familiar with Yardi and RentCafe; Voyager8 experience is a plus.
• Organized, disciplined operator with timely meetings, agendas, and follow-through.
• Willingness to travel across a multi-state territory.
• Executive presence with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

$175,000 – $190,000+ / year

OVERVIEW A national multifamily operator is looking for a Director or Associate Director to take senior oversight of operations across its Midwest and Southwest portfolio. This is an executive-level role for someone who's run at scale before — someone comfortable in front of clients, running the numbers across multiple regions, and stepping into distressed or special-situation assets when the portfolio calls for it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide senior operational oversight across a multi-state multifamily portfolio
• Supervise, support, and influence a team of Regional Managers across the territory
• Run point on weekly leadership meetings, with agendas prepared and sent out on time
• Sit on every client call as the strategic point of contact and partner
• Take direct oversight of properties in receivership or REO status when they enter the portfolio
• Review portfolio-wide financial performance and hold regions accountable to plan
• Partner with ownership and the Senior Managing Director on portfolio strategy and reporting
• Step into underperforming markets or assets to diagnose issues and drive turnaround
• Represent the company externally with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders as needed
