Blue Castle Agency seeks a Director or Associate Director to provide senior oversight of multifamily operations across the Midwest and Southwest, overseeing a multi-state portfolio and guiding a team of Regional Managers. This is an executive role with client-facing responsibilities and strategic portfolio leadership.

Ideal candidates have 8–10+ years in multifamily management, including REO/ receivership work, and strong financial and operational discipline. Travel across states is required.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of multifamily property management experience.
• Senior/director-level oversight of multiple regions or markets.
• Experience with properties in receivership and/or REO status.
• Ability to lead and develop Regional Managers.
• Strong financial and operational command across a large, multi-state portfolio.
• Familiar with Yardi and RentCafe; Voyager8 a strong plus.
• Organized, disciplined operator with punctual meetings and clear follow-up.
• Willingness to travel across a multi-state territory.

$175,000 – $190,000+ / year

Overview

A national multifamily operator is looking for a Director or Associate Director to take senior oversight of operations across its Midwest and Southwest portfolio. This is an executive-level role for someone who's run at scale before — someone comfortable in front of clients, running the numbers across multiple regions, and stepping into distressed or special-situation assets when the portfolio calls for it.

What You'll Do

• Provide senior operational oversight across a multi-state multifamily portfolio

• Run point on weekly leadership meetings, with agendas prepared and sent out on time
• Sit on every client call as the strategic point of contact and partner

What It Takes

• 8-10+ years of multifamily property management experience, including senior/director-level oversight of multiple regions or markets
• Direct experience with properties in receivership and/or REO status
• Comfortable running client relationships at a senior level, including live client calls
• Proven ability to lead and develop Regional Managers, not just review their reports
• Strong financial and operational command across a large, multi-state portfolio
• Familiar with Yardi and RentCafe (Voyager8 experience a strong plus)
• Organized, disciplined operator — meetings run on time, agendas go out, follow-through is real
• Comfortable traveling across a multi-state territory as needed
• Executive presence and strong communication skills, written and verbal
