Job summary

At Home Group Inc. seeks a Director of Asset Management to lead the real estate portfolio across stores, distribution facilities, and excess property.

This role drives the long-term strategy, optimizes asset value, and mitigates occupancy risk while coordinating with senior management on major transactions. The position requires a proven leader who can manage a diverse portfolio, supervise the Asset Management team, and negotiate complex lease terms with landlords and tenants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or J.D. preferred.
• 10+ years of corporate/retail real estate experience with large, diverse portfolios.
• Proven ability to develop portfolio strategy and execute complex lease transactions.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term real estate portfolio strategy.
• Lead Asset Management team and external partners; present recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee lease renewals, amendments, restructurings, and sale-leasebacks.
• Maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, brokers, and industry partners.
