Job description

Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a Director of Asset Management for one of our real estate clients.

This person will lead and oversee the strategic planning, acquisition, management, and disposition of the organization's asset portfolio. You will be responsible for maximizing the value of their assets, ensuring alignment with the company's financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize asset performance and value.
- Oversee the acquisition, disposition, and management of assets in accordance with the company's investment objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support asset management decisions.
- Monitor market trends and assess the impact on the asset portfolio.
- Lead a team of asset managers and provide guidance on best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective asset management and reporting.
- Prepare and present regular reports on asset performance to senior management and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPM) is preferred.
- Proven experience in asset management, with a strong track record of success in managing a diverse asset portfolio.
- Excellent financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends and regulatory requirements related to asset management.
