Our Impact:

The Surveillance Team within the Asset Management and Operations Department of Multifamily is responsible for detecting and managing credit, regulatory, and reputational risk to Freddie Mac from loans or bonds in our multifamily portfolio. Our team works closely with multiple groups within Freddie Mac Multifamily, our Optigo customer network, and the US Multifamily industry. We monitor credit quality and performance to provide maximum recovery to investors and superior service to borrowers, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring portfolio performance and compliance items
  2. Evaluating collateral, loans, and assisting in due diligence activities
  3. Participating in initiatives to streamline processes and enhance portfolio monitoring
  4. Performing special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in asset management, banking, or finance, with emphasis on asset management, commercial lending, property inspections, or loan documentation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Keys to Success in this Role:
  • Proficiency with technology productivity tools, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be self-directed
  • Strong organizational skills
