Manager of Hardware Asset Management (HAM)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) to oversee the entire lifecycle of hardware assets within the organization. This role involves building and maintaining processes to ensure visibility, accountability, and optimization of hardware inventory, including end-user devices, mobile phones, tablets, peripherals, and infrastructure equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the hardware asset lifecycle from planning, procurement, deployment, maintenance, to disposal.
• Utilize ServiceNow HAM Pro to automate asset tracking, stockroom management, refresh planning, loaner device management, and disposal workflows.
• Collaborate with the CMDB team to ensure data accuracy of physical hardware.
• Manage inventory and lifecycle of portable devices, ensuring compliance and timely refresh/disposal.
• Develop standards, policies, and procedures for asset lifecycle management.
• Conduct regular audits and reconcile physical and recorded inventories.
• Generate weekly reports on stockroom inventory for ground personnel.
• Work with Telecom, Security, and Procurement teams on device and service plan management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Hardware Asset Management.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and related workflows.
• Strong knowledge of end-user computing hardware and portable devices.
• Deep understanding of ITIL asset lifecycle principles.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, MDM solutions, and asset disposal processes.

Salary Range: $116,000 - $174,000
