Job summary

Incyte Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology and inflammation, seeks a Director of Antibody Discovery to lead strategy and execution of antibody discovery campaigns. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of antibody discovery using hybridoma, single cell B cloning and display technologies.
• Experience with immunization approaches to enhance immune responses against challenging antigens.
• Experience leading a diverse scientific team and managing a research group.

Responsibilities

• Lead antibody discovery using immunization and/or display technologies.
• Direct external collaborations for discovery and optimization of biotherapeutic compounds.
• Support establishment and management of new technology platforms for antibody discovery.
• Collaborate with immunologists and pharmacologists to drive target validation and discovery programs.
• Utilize CROs and internal resources to optimize discovery processes across diverse teams.
• Manage a team of scientists supporting antibody discovery and technology development.
• Establish and manage ambitious timelines for multiple discovery projects.
• Participate as an in-house specialist in due diligences.
• Responsible for NGS platform implementation for antibody discovery.
