Job summary

VCU Athletics is seeking a Sr Gifts Officer DV 1 to lead Ram Athletic Fund efforts, grow donor numbers, and activate alumni engagement. You will manage a 100+ donor portfolio, craft campaigns, and coordinate events with coaches and the Alumni Association to maximize giving and fan involvement.

The role requires strong fundraising, donor relations, and project management skills, with a focus on data-driven outreach and revenue growth within a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field.
• Experience in stewardship, alumni/donor relations, and/or event coordination.
• Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work evenings/weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 100+ prospects and donors.
• Lead annual giving campaigns, events, and communications.
• Plan and execute donor events and alumni outreach programs.
• Monitor fundraising metrics and prepare progress reports.
• Collaborate with Alumni Association and ticketing teams to boost engagement.
