Neurophos in Austin, TX, is seeking a Director of Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design to lead the team behind the electronic circuits driving our optical processing unit. You will own architecture, drive tape-out readiness, and partner with photonics and software teams to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient ICs for AI hardware.

The role demands 15+ years in analog/mixed-signal/RF, leadership experience, and a track record of manufacturing-ready designs.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years in analog/mixed-signal/RF IC design with leadership experience.
• Proven track record from concept to tape-out and high-volume production.
• Experience with mmWave or high-frequency RF design and EM tools.
• Strong CMOS/FinFET/SiGe BiCMOS knowledge and reliability.
• CADENCE Virtuoso/Spectre and EM tools proficiency.
• Experience with foundries, OSATs, DFT, trimming, and calibration.
• Startup leadership experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Build and mentor a team of analog, mixed-signal, RF/mmWave, and layout engineers.
• Define architecture for analog and mixed-signal IP including high-speed ADCs/DACs.
• Own silicon from spec to tape-out and production release.
• Represent analog in leadership; manage schedules, budgets, and priorities.
• Guide low-power analog blocks and high-speed mixed-signal circuits.
• Collaborate with photonics on millimeter-wave interfaces.
• Maintain robust design methodologies and design data management.
• Evaluate AI-assisted design and verification tools.
• Drive design-for-manufacturability and design-for-test.
• Lead silicon debug and yield improvement with partners.
• Co-optimize electro-optical interface with cross-functional teams.
