Job summary

Acara Solutions, An Aleron Company is seeking an expert in photonics engineering to lead the core design team and deliver silicon photonics across AI data centers, automotive, and industrial automation.

You will grow and lead design teams, own tape-out scoping, and manage development milestones with tight timelines while ensuring test and reliability planning for new devices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Silicon Photonics Design.
• 3+ years experience leading silicon photonics design teams to deliver product.
• Strong background and experience designing photonics devices into foundries.
• Experience with delivering complex photonics circuits taking into account system constraints and interactions.
• Experience with full successful design, tape-out, and test cycles.
• Experience with back reflection and stray light management strategies.
• Experience in optical simulation software to evaluate optical designs.
• Experience in qualifying high volume photonics components.

Base Salary is $205,000 - $307,400 a year
