Job summary

Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine seeks an Associate Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement to manage programs that engage alumni, former residents and friends, build loyalty and financial support, and advance the university’s mission.

Reporting to the Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement, you will design strategies, plan events, oversee communications, manage records, and collaborate with faculty and staff to strengthen connections across the Temple community on

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in alumni relations, events, communications, or fundraising.
Experience in higher education preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Define, develop, implement and maintain strategic engagement initiatives and programs.
Design and implement alumni events (Reunion & Alumni Weekend, Homecoming, etc.).
Broaden the scope and quality of programs and services for alumni and former residents.
Provide opportunities for engagement across class years and life cycle stages.
Support engagement, volunteer, networking and professional development activities.
Manage the alumni communications calendar and develop web/digital content.
Create timelines, track progress, and report results.
Develop and maintain constituent records.
Build awareness and affinity among students and alumni.
Collaborate with Temple staff and external stakeholders to support programs.
Manage event registration and outreach to meet goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
