Job summary

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA), the private fundraising and alumni relations organization for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, seeks a Director of Affinity Programs to lead engagement strategies and portfolio teams within the Alumni Relations & Engagement division at a hybrid Madison, WI office.

You will supervise staff, drive data-informed affinity initiatives, partner with campus colleagues, and guide annual planning to strengthen donor and alumni engagement, pride,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in alumni or donor relations, educational institutions, nonprofit or fundraising environment.
• Experience supervising and managing professional staff and collaborating with volunteers.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead Affinity Team and cross-functional portfolio teams to set strategies, budgeting, and execution of tactics.
• Coach portfolio leads and staff to manage priorities and workflow.
• Identify resource gaps and solve problems for maximum return.
