Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Director, Sales Engineering - JDM/Storage for the Northeast U.S. to be the primary technical resource for the account management team.

You will provide expert pre-sales and post-sales support for AI-driven data center solutions and articulate the value of high-performance storage and networking architectures to executives and engineers. This remote role requires travel and candidates should be near a major airport or Celestica US hub, with a preference for NYC.

Qualifications

• 12–14 years of applicable technical experience, with 5+ years focused on JDM Compute and Storage node design.
• Experience in storage/compute node design and requirements discovery for design/manufacturing opportunities.
• Deep experience with storage systems and network transport/topologies (RoCE, NVMe-oF, Ethernet).
• Experience with AI cluster optimization related to KV Cache and inference acceleration.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sales Support: Partner with Sales Managers to drive the sales process for AI storage and networking portfolios.
• Technical Obstacle Removal: Overcome security/compliance and interoperability hurdles to close opportunities.
• Demos & Presentations: Lead high-impact product demos and technical presentations, including PoC activities.
• Proposal Leadership: Lead technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs.
