Job summary

Schwab is seeking a seasoned professional to join our AI Risk Oversight team. You will help govern and monitor agentic and generative AI solutions, aligning policy with regulatory expectations and internal standards.

In this role, you will drive risk program initiatives across multiple stakeholders, coordinate across risk and technology teams, and deliver regulator-facing evidence while promoting a culture of responsible AI risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of AI governance, monitoring, and risk management.
• Experience in risk, compliance, governance, audit, or enterprise program management.

Responsibilities

• Drive the AI risk management program roadmap and execution.
• Maintain and update AI risk policy, standards, procedures, and guidance.
• Coordinate across AI owners, reviewers, ERM, Tech, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Data, and Operations.
• Assess regulatory guidance, audit findings, and industry practices to identify enhancements.
• Prepare audit- and regulator-ready evidence and program documentation.
• Lead self-assessments, gap analyses, issue identification, and remediation tracking.
• Design and roll out training and awareness campaigns on AI risk requirements.
• Maintain adherence monitoring routines for AI risk standards and procedures.
• Lead AI Risk Working Group and report to the Model Governance Subcommittee.
• Partner with reporting, dashboard, metrics, and review leads to connect governance to data.
