Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Director for GH&B AI-Ready Data Foundation & Governance. You will own the AI-ready data warehouse (Snowflake), establish ontologies across data domains, and lead data governance and lineage for critical GH&B analytics, including Athena and the Navigator dashboard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with substantial experience in data management, governance, and architecture.
• Experience building and operating enterprise data warehouses or AI-ready data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Hands-on with data catalogs and governance tools like Collibra or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own GH&B AI Ready Data Warehouse (Snowflake) and its data model for AI/ML use cases.
• Establish ontologies and semantic relationships across GH&B data domains.
• Own end-to-end data governance, including quality rules and stewardship accountability.
• Ensure production reliability of data apps and dashboards (Athena, NEO, Navigator).
• Monitor data quality feeding AI/ML models and manage drift detection.
• Define version control and testing/release processes for data assets.
• Manage role-based access and data protection with Legal/Privacy.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for warehouse and platforms.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to align architecture with enterprise direction.
• Direct contingent contractor resources for GH&B data capabilities.
• Serve as accountable owner of data quality and lineage across GH&B data products.
