Job summary

Catalight Foundation seeks a Senior Data Governance Manager to establish and mature the enterprise data governance program across healthcare, analytics, and AI/ML ecosystems. You will lead data stewardship, metadata management, and regulatory compliance for HIPAA, PII, and PHI.

Reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, BI analysts, and stakeholders to ensure secure, trustworthy, governed data for operational reporting and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data governance programs in regulated environments.
• Strong HIPAA, PHI, PII privacy and compliance expertise.
• Experience governing Snowflake and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Collibra, Alation or Purview data catalogs.
• Excellent SQL and analytical data literacy.

Responsibilities

• Establish, lead, and mature enterprise data governance program and policies.
• Define frameworks for data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, access, retention.
• Partner with security, compliance, legal, and technology teams for regulatory alignment.
• Monitor data governance, quality, and lineage across Snowflake environments.
• Drive enterprise adoption of governance across analytics, BI, and AI/ML workloads.
• Provide governance training and continuous improvement.
