Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Director of AI Product Management to own the enterprise AI roadmap, prioritize AI use-cases, and align investments with measurable business outcomes. This role collaborates with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Cybersecurity, Technology, and Data to design orchestrated processes combining people, systems, and agents.

You will lead AI vendor evaluations, pilots, and governance, and manage a portfolio of specialized AI solutions with clear success metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline required.
Advanced degree preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in product management, business systems, digital transformation, or technology strategy.
Experience leading product managers or analysts (minimum 3 years) is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the AI enterprise roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Prioritize AI use-cases and sequence deployment with clear business value.
Build business cases with partners, defining success criteria and expected outcomes.
Decide make-vs-buy for use-cases, including 3rd-party tools or in-house development.
Manage vendor vetting, pilots, and relationships with Procurement, Legal, and Security.
Lead and develop AI product managers and business analysts across the AI portfolio.
