About the Director of AI Engineering - Transform Review
This role leads a team responsible for flagship AI products such as Review Center, aiR for Review, and aiR for Privilege. The director will unify architecture and organization to transform and advance our document review solutions for the legal industry, collaborating closely with product management, engineering, data science, and other AI leaders.
The team comprises over 50 engineers and product leaders focused on automating and innovating Transform Review. The director will also work on developing our AI operating model across multiple offices and onboarding engineers to grow our AI capabilities.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Represent Relativity's AI strategy and key products.
- Own features, technology functions, and team development within AI initiatives.
- Engage with industry events and clients.
- Recruit and build a cross-functional AI team.
- Lead major initiatives with clear prioritization and communication.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to scale solutions.
- Prioritize technical investments and architecture improvements.
- Mentor and develop AI engineering talent.
- Inspire with a vision of AI transforming Relativity.
- Advise leadership on innovative technologies and potential acquisitions.
- Foster innovation, data curiosity, and a global AI operating model.
Minimum qualifications include:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in leadership roles.
- Experience with AI/ML product development, especially generative AI.
- Proven ability to lead software teams and deliver complex solutions.
- Experience in cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with modern programming languages, SaaS/cloud environments, and big data infrastructure.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and launching new products.
Relativity offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $195,000 to $293,000, based on experience and qualifications.
