Job summary

TiDB, powered by PingCAP, seeks a Director of AI Ecosystem Partnerships to own the partner ecosystem strategy for the AI era. This senior role focuses on product and solution collaboration with AI platforms, infrastructure providers, and ISVs across North America, aligning with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to position TiDB as the data backbone for agentic AI and GenAI workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years in technology partnerships or solutions alliances.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML ecosystem incl. LLM platforms and vector databases.
• Proven experience driving product-level or solution-level integrations.
• Ability to engage technically and commercially with engineers, product managers, and executives.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration between BD, Product, Engineering and Marketing.
• Experience with cloud platforms or open-source communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own TiDB's AI ecosystem partnership strategy across NA, identifying and developing partnerships to accelerate product innovation.
• Build relationships with AI platform providers, LLMs, cloud hyperscalers, and ISVs in agentic AI/GenAI space.
• Drive product integrations embedding TiDB into partner platforms and AI stacks.
• Develop joint value propositions and blueprints with partners for enterprise AI infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope technical integrations and reference architectures.
• Lead co-marketing and activation initiatives to raise awareness of joint TiDB solutions.
