Job summary

PingCAP Inc. seeks a Director of AI Ecosystem Partnerships to lead TiDB's partner ecosystem strategy in the AI era.

You will build integrations with AI platforms, cloud providers, and ISVs across North America, working with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to position TiDB as the data backbone for agentic AI applications. The role emphasizes product-level integrations, ecosystem collaboration, and strategic market expansion, with a focus on vector tech, RAG, and enterprise AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, or related field; technical background preferred.
• 8+ years in technology partnerships, business development, or solutions alliances with AI/cloud/data infra.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML ecosystem including LLM platforms, vector databases, RAG, and cloud-native infra.
• Experience driving product- or solution-level integrations with ecosystem strategy.
• Ability to engage engineers, product managers, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and storytelling skills.
• Experience with distributed databases and cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own AI ecosystem partnership strategy, prioritizing and developing partnerships.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with AI platform providers, LLMs, hyperscalers, and ISVs.
• Drive product-level integrations embedding TiDB into partner platforms.
• Manage portfolio of tech partnerships aligned to AI workloads.
• Develop joint value propositions and solution blueprints with partners.
• Work with Product and Engineering to scope technical integrations.
• Embed TiDB into AI frameworks, agent orchestration layers, RAG pipelines, and cloud-native apps.
• Leverage TiDB capabilities (vector search, Graph RAG, knowledge graphs) for joint solutions.
• Create reference architectures and joint go-to-market assets.
• Develop co-marketing and co-innovation initiatives.
