Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co is seeking a Director, Insights & Innovation to lead analytics strategy across the trial lifecycle. You will bridge analytics, governance, and data science to enable scalable, explainable insights used in trial design, feasibility, enrollment forecasting, and execution.

You will oversee platforms like Photon and Comet, collaborating with leaders to define methods, success criteria, and validation while ensuring regulatory compliance and interpretability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc, PhD, or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience across clinical development, trial analytics, biostatistics, data governance, advanced trial analytics, or management consulting.
• Experience with data scientists, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled solutions; translate business questions into analytically tractable problems.
• Experience governing analytics platforms, tools, or data products in regulated or high-risk environments.
• Strong understanding of predictive modeling, simulation, and machine learning concepts.
• Proven ability to act as a bridge between business, IT, and data science teams, shaping solutions from concept through adoption.
• Proven track record of driving adoption of new systems, methods, or reporting processes across large organizations.
• Experience with enterprise analytics systems (Workbench, Performance Central, CTMS, etc.).
• Strong documentation, communication, and decision-framing skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and operate effectively across global functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and orchestrate the end-to-end analytics roadmap for TAIP’s advanced capabilities.
• Govern analytical methodologies underpinning TAIP deliverables across feasibility, site selection, enrollment forecasting.
• Own analytics products used by TAIP (e.g., Photon, Comet) for automation and reuse.
• Lead applied data science and AI to inform trial and portfolio decisions with transparency and regulatory alignment.
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership.
