Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director of Biostatistics to join cross-functional Development teams. You will contribute to trial design, analysis planning, and regulatory submissions, shaping the interpretation of results across multiple indications.

With deep statistical expertise and hospital- or industry-based trial experience, you will mentor team members and drive high-quality deliverables while collaborating with indication leads and across functions.

Qualifications

• PhD (6+ years’ experience) or MS (8+ years’ experience) in statistics/biostatistics or related field with clinical trials experience.
• Proficiency in scientific computing/programming (SAS, R or Python) and implementation of advanced statistical analysis, data manipulation, graphing & simulation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Expertise in statistical/clinical trials methodology related to clinical development and ability to apply to the development framework.
• Good understanding of regulatory landscape and experience with regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in design of innovative and efficient clinical trials and contributes to study objectives.
• Defends protocols and analysis plans in governance reviews and provides independent reviews of complex protocols.
• Authors or reviews protocols, statistical analysis plans, clinical study reports and related documents.
• Presents data and analyses clearly and transparently to stakeholders and regulators.
• Provides statistical support and leadership for regulatory interactions and disclosures.
