Job summary

AbbV ie Inc. in the United States is seeking a Director, SOX Lifecycle & Enablement to own the end-to-end SOX program lifecycle.

You will lead risk assessment, scoping, control matrices, and certification processes while coordinating BU SOX Leads across the organization. This hands-on leadership role drives a multi-year modernization of the SOX program, including automation, AI-enabled controls, and an integrated Testing & Analytics Hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive audit/internal controls experience with strong SOX leadership.
• CPA or CIA (or equivalent) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the annual SOX risk assessment and scoping in coordination with external auditor.
• Own enterprise risk and control matrix updates for business and system changes.
• Oversee Section 302/404 certification processes and quarterly sub-certifications.
• Manage deficiency governance and reporting for executive leadership and Audit Committee.
